I've completed a short series of fractals, the "times of day" fractal series. Here is 1/4.

Sunrise!

After a long dark night morning burst in somewhat violently as the sun rises (I live 10 degrees north of the equator, so dawn is fast). Sometimes it's preceded by a bright red and yellow sky (thus the red and yellow colours). Also the softer, low angle light makes all the green in the trees and on the mountains really pop out compared to normal (thus the green).

Fawail is the obnoxious beast of the early morning. He appears to tell everyone "WAKE UP!!! GET OUT OF BED, IT'S MORNING!!". It compels birds to tweet and roosters to crow. Flowers to open and bats to retreat to their caves. He bring relief to the scared and grief to the sleepy.
