JP-Talma Flames 3 by JP-Talma JP-Talma Flames 3 by JP-Talma

These flames were generated in Apophysis 2.08 3D

These are the flames before photoshop editing and may be different colours or rotated differently than they appear in my gallery

Ok here is another batch of my flames.

I think I'll just remind anyone looking. These flames are not for stealing. I am all for people wanting to get a look at how I make fractals and tweaking the parameters here to make different fractals. But please do not do silly things like re-colour a flame and uplaod it as your own work.

I've included 16 different fractals here (failed to reach my 25 goal, lol)

Most of these I could say I'm "done with". I rarely return to parameters after I render them and generally start from scratch with my next one. For that reason I'm more than happy to share them.

Feel free to show me anything you made off of these :D

This week I tried out Apophysis 7x properly for the first time. I've been reading some tutorials and am still confused with some of the newer variation, but its great fun. I think I'm going to abandon Apo 2.08 3D and move on (like I should have a year ago :p). After flamepack#4 (due in late May/ early June) All new fractals are expected to be in Apo 7x

That's odd, I've never had complaints from these files before.... It's defiantly a rat file though...

It came out great! :D I'm glad you were able to make use of my flames.

Dang. It's a RAR file. It's easier to do things with ZIPs.

Hmmm. I'm not much of a computer expert... so could you explain why ZIPs are better than RARs?

Sorry for dumb question, but when I compressed it I didn't even realize what format it was in. I now know how to make it a ZIP since I looked around so I'm wondering if I should change it/ do future ones in that format.

Well, RAR files are great because they can be compressed a lot. ZIPs can't be compressed as much, but since they are just folders, they are very interactive, can be used to retrieving and adding, and much others. Also, no outside software is needed to open a ZIP, it can be opened by a computer's default software.

Oh, I see. Ok I'll look into some way to make zip files rather than RARs.
