I got frustrated with the nameing here... I was going to call it "Cross dem Polars" in reference when you take two peices of polarized material and cross them at right angles in a microscope. If you have a slide in, glass and air become black, but anything solid and on cubic will change colors and often put on a bright show of colors. And the colors become even more extreme when you add the "Gypsm Plate" and the colors go crazy!!!!. Saddly that name lacked any value.... then I considered a mineral...but no mineral in the world (except maybe artifically grown bismuth, with its cubes and rainbow colors) could do the colors justice.
Then what do you know.... at the center of the cirlce, there is... an eye (slited) near the top. And I remembered the giant moths and buterflies with their EVIL cicles on their backs shaped like eyes. So there.... Monolithic (mono for one, since there is only one eye. And Monolithic for its evil size) Butterfly (since it kinda has wings on the sides of the circle) Priestess (I just wanted to personify it).
There we go... the spirit of an ultra evil butterfly lady, who shall spread her foul smelling rainbow colored dust on you, slowly choking you to death.... remember this.... butterflies are NOT our friends...
Lol, well... to aquire a particular amount of knowledge... you have to make sacrifices. I basically know almost nothing about politics (I kept forgeting what the parties in the US were called and who was in each one, embarassing) , celebrities, artists, and alot of stuff that the world considers important (like social problems around the world).
Instead I get a reserve of stuff relevant to science and a few artistic concepts like Feng Shui or greek mythology.
And yea, I know... the imagery of a giant evil butterfly lady is terrifiying
That is soo cool! It reminds me of like the stained glass in a cathedral at magnous level. But then, its not so benevolent. Did you really get this image from a microscope?
Well no I didn't see THIS in a microscope, but all the crazy colors I saw while studing mineral grains inspired me to name this abstract peice (I made it in photoshop, hope I didn't confuse you, I just like writing semi-educational content into my descriptions).
you know so much stuff
