Natural Energy by JP-Talma Natural Energy by JP-Talma
Fractal thingy 546

I've been doing a bit of green recently..... But it is a great colour.

It's a mixed meaning. On one hand it's a bright sunflower with hundreds of petals. I love sunflowers, but I havn't seen any growing well in the climate here, so I only have seen them a handful of times. B

But it also looks a lot like the logo for BP (British Petroleum). Thankfully BP happens to also have BP Solar which essentially has the same logo.

Solar energy is great stuff since it takes works just by lying in the sun. The downside is how environmentally unfriendly it is to produce the aluminum for the frames and the large silicon crystals for the active components.

Sparkling sunflowers from a company that pumps oil but makes renewable energy too :p

Ahhhhh it's doing something weird to my eyes. I can't even tell what part of it seems to "move" but something about the picture does not seem to be staying still, like it vibrates or pulses or something.
I love the colors, so relaxing and soft.

I just realized what it's doing to my eyes! I looked back up at the picture and thought "it reminds me of seaweed....then what about the light? I can't justify a glowing yellow object being underwater...Aha! It's like I'm lying on the ocean floor among sea grass and I'm looking up towards the surface and at the sun!" And that's when I realized when I look at the picture, it makes me feel like I have my eyes open underwater (except not as intense of an effect, definitely not as uncomfortable as the real thing).

It's so weird, a lot of people are talking about motion and spinning or vibrating, yet when I look at it it seem perfectly still :p. Optical illusions don't often work on me though.

Oh, I love the underwater in a grove of sea grass idea :D

Ooooo... this has an optical illusion effect to it. It makes my eyes go wonky! :D

I remember :) Your signature on Dollinator points to your main account.

Glad you like this fractal :D it's weird.... When I was uploading it I was thinking "I want to start uploading my series, but this other thing is in the way."

I don't know why but it didn't really wow me that much. But the response is reversed so who knows now, lol.

Fix has the same thing with his stuff. What he likes, most of us and me included, we don't. What we like, he doesn't as much. Lol life is odd

Been looking at it for a while now and already notice how it radiates ... maybe it's these exact colors and how they're displayed on those wavy shapes. If only images could be power sources ... :D

And is it me or one bit to the left and a bit lower from the center is different from all the rest? :o

It took me a while to find it but yes, there is one cylinder that is different from all the rest :p I suppose it is a slight flaw, it didn't even notice until now, lol.

It's the original cylinder... I forgot to reduce its opacity to meet the others.

Glad you like it :)

If images could be energy sources then I guess artist would be renewable resources (and we wouldn't have to pay energy bills anymore)
