The Colours of Invisibility by JP-Talma The Colours of Invisibility by JP-Talma
Fractal thingy 608

Animals in e ocean use various means to not be noticed by each other. One interesting quality of water is the fact that it allows different colours to penetrate different depths. Red light is the one that penetrates the least depth and blue the most. As a result, anything red will appear black below a certain depth (since there is no red light to reflect off of them). Other animals have lighter bellies so that if a predator is swimming below them, the belly will blend in with the lighter surface.

I don't even remember off hand what let me make these crazy shapes...but I liked swirling them around :)

This is fascinating and beautiful!
I have always been interested in fractal
imagery, and you have used it prolifically and well.
May I share this on another site so that those
not yet enlightened enough to be on DeviantArt
may enjoy it?

I don't mind you sharing on other sites at all :)

Thanks, JP-T !
More people should appreciate your type of art.
I'm kind of a sucker for it, and it's hard to understand why some benighted souls aren't.
Thanks for sharing your work, and for your generosity in letting me spread it around a little more!

I love the title (and idea behind it). It's such an interesting thing to muse, the visible and invisible world, our inner and outer world, etc.
